SALT LAKE CITY — October 31, 2019 — Alsco Inc., the worldwide leader in providing rental services for linen, workwear uniforms and facility services to customers including restaurants, healthcare, automotive industry and industrial facilities, is excited to be the primary sponsor of the No. 2 Chevrolet Camaro SS driven by Tyler Reddick for Richard Childress Racing (RCR) in the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas, on November 2.
Alsco’s backing of Reddick on the No. 2 Chevrolet at the Texas Xfinity Series race is the second time this season they’ve appeared as the primary sponsor on the car and is a part of Alsco’s sixth consecutive year of partnership with RCR.
“Saying we’re excited to be the primary sponsor on the No. 2 Chevrolet while Reddick is in the hunt for the championship is an understatement,” said Jim Divers, Alsco’s director of sales and marketing. “When we looked at the schedule and our opportunities to be a primary sponsor, we knew it would be a smart bet to pick a date in the playoffs. This has always been a great partnership, made all the more exciting with Reddick’s performance this season.”
“We’re looking forward to having Alsco return as the primary sponsor on the No. 2 Chevrolet this weekend at Texas,” said Richard Childress, chairman and CEO of Richard Childress Racing. “Tyler has done an outstanding job this year representing our partners, like Alsco, both on and off the track. Our plan is to put Tyler, the No. 2 team and Alsco in the winner’s circle this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway and lock into the championship weekend.”
Tyler Reddick is the defending NASCAR Xfinity Series champion and joined RCR in 2019, scoring his first win of the year at Talladega Superspeedway. He went on to win the Alsco 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway and has five wins under his belt so far in 2019. In September at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Reddick clinched the 2019 NASCAR Xfinity Series Regular-Season Championship and is currently ranked third in the Xfinity Series.
“I’m honored to have Alsco return as a primary partner for the second time this year on our No. 2 Chevrolet,” said Reddick. “RCR and Alsco are two longtime family-owned and operated organizations, so we share a lot of the same values with each other. I was able to get the win during Charlotte’s Alsco 300, but just missed out on winning in the No. 2 Alsco Chevrolet at Kentucky, so I’m excited to have another shot at getting them back to Victory Lane. Texas Motor Speedway is a track I’ve had success at and come close to winning in the past, so I feel confident heading into this weekend with the No. 2 Alsco team.”
RCR and Alsco both celebrate milestone anniversaries in 2019: 50 years and 130 years, respectively. Longtime success has been a common bond for the two companies.
“We’ll be hosting a suite full of Alsco employees, customers and prospects this weekend in Texas” said Divers. “Hopefully we’ll be taking a trip down to Victory Lane, too.”
