Jim Kearns Advances to Vice Chair of TRSA Board of Directors

Alsco Exec Elected at 2020 Annual Conference

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov 4, 2020 – TRSA, the association for linen, uniform, and facility services, hosted the swearing-in of new Officers and Directors Oct. 22 during the business meeting at its 107th Annual Conference in Alexandria, VA, as elected by a mail-in vote of a quorum of its members. Jim Kearns, executive vice president and chief financial officer, Alsco Inc., was elected as vice chair of TRSA’s Board of Directors.

A graduate of the University of Utah, Kearns joined Alsco Inc. in 1993 as the internal audit director and steadily advanced to his current position in January 2019. Alsco is the worldwide leader in uniform and facility service rental and has been since 1889. They provide these services to over 355,000 customers in more than 180 locations worldwide.

Kearns previously served as the Board’s treasurer and is a member of the Executive Committee of the TRSA Board of Directors. Kearns is a longtime member of TRSA and has participated on a variety of task forces and executive panels at professional development events. Outside of work, Kearns enjoys many outdoor activities including skiing, hiking and fishing.
