LAS VEGAS – Alsco Inc. recently donated funds to Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada to help feed the homeless. The Las Vegas area has one of the highest homeless populations in the nation. Every day hundreds of individuals and families are in need of life’s basics. The Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada (CCSN) helps this vulnerable population by providing food, shelter and a comprehensive range of human services.
Alsco is proud to support CCSN’s efforts. In addition to running a food pantry and a Meals on Wheels program, CCSN feeds an average of 800 nutritious meals each day to homeless men, women, and children in its on-site dining facility.
“Catholic Charities works tirelessly, helping individuals and families to gain self-sufficiency and dignity. It’s an honor to support their work,” says Beau Murchison, Alsco Las Vegas general manager. “As members of the Las Vegas community, we are proud to help CCSN support those most in need.”
